First Steps...

Welcome to the Centre for a Spacefaring Civilization’s Blog

The Centre for a Spacefaring Civilization is approaching the first anniversary of our incorporation as a legal entity (27 November) and in honour of that event we are launching a blog. The first post has been written by our Executive Director, Thomas Cheney and is on what the term spacefaring civilization means to him.

We will endeavour to publish at least one post a month, on a range of topics, and hopefully, from a range of authors, they will discuss our ongoing research, side projects, opinions, books we’ve read and important debates ongoing in the space law and policy sphere. Hopefully you will find them interesting, informative and thought provoking.

The opinions expressed in these blogs posts are those of the author and do not represent the views of the Centre for a Spacefaring Civilization or anyone else, for that matter. This blog is a place for discussion, for exploration of ideas and concepts, that aren’t ready or appropriate for other forums or formats.
